“After years of unsuccessful, costly and painful infertility treatments, we had almost given up on the idea of having a baby.  We had always considered adoption as an option, but never really knew how to go about the process.  In October of 2002 we received a call from Adoption Choices of Colorado.  A birth mother and a birth father had chosen our profile and wanted us to fly into town to meet them.  Two weeks later we met with them, and the staff at Adoption Choices.  We felt very comfortable with everyone, and knew that we had made the right choice in selecting Adoption Choices as one of our agencies.  Three weeks later we received a call telling us that the birth mother was in labor and that we should catch the next plane.  Although we were almost 2000 miles away, we arrived at the hospital just minutes after our baby boy was born and we were immediately allowed to hold him and stay with him.  Days later we brought our perfect, newborn son home from the hospital.
